The City of Clayton's Shaw Park Ice Rink is one of only two open-air ice rinks in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. The city's task force wanted to investigate the possibility of enclosing the rink to make it available for year-round enjoyment. They also wanted to consider the issues related to the operations of the ice rink. Some of the issues addressed were conditions, usage, potential partnerships and future operations.
