The City of East Grand forks was prepared to move forward with investing significant capital dollars in the repair and renovation of their current aquatic center. In a last minute change the City tabled the idea of renovation and repair and wanted to explore the idea of developing a new facility as the capital dollars associated with replacement/repair were similar to a new facility.
To that end the City of East Grand Forks engaged B*K to complete a comprehensive feasibility study for the development of a new aquatic center. The scope of service that B*K is responsible for includes; reviewing existing information about the facility and use numbers, completion of a comprehensive market analysis, engaging the public about the concept of a new facility and developing an operations plan based upon architectural design.
