The Town of Erie desiring to provide its people with a place to build memories and create a healthy environment, has built the Eric Community Center. A top priority for this facility was sustainability and energy conservation. This facility has an aquatic center – with lap pool, leisure pool and lazy river, a gymnasium (one full court or two half-courts), fitness/group exercise area, 2 racquetball courts, a party room, teen room, seniors’ lounge, multi-purpose community rooms, indoor playground, indoor running track, climbing pinnacle and bouldering wall, administrative offices, and public access WiFi.
B*K provided the following services for this center: stakeholder interviews, project funding analysis, programming, workshop/community input sessions, market analysis and operations pro-forma. In addition, ETC Institute provided a survey for this project.
