The newly opened Dayton Kroc Center is situated on 17.5-acres. This complex was create for the enrichment of people in physical, emotional and spiritual development and includes numerous components for this to be achieved. Outdoors there is a 400 seat basketball court that will be utilized for league play as well as summer tournaments for Dayton area youth. In addition there is a 400 seat indoor basketball court surrounding a state of the art floor. The facility also includes a fitness center with exercise equipment for weight training and aerobic training, a walking/jogging track and concessions. Locker rooms and lounge area are provided specifically for the basketball and fitness areas. A 400 seat sanctuary and worship center, equipped with state of the art technology for audio and visual purposes, will be the hub of the spiritual component. Additionally there is a kitchen, a dance room and a piano room for instruction. The center includes a Technology Café, a multi-use space where both young and old alike can use a variety of technology resources. This is a gathering space for wireless laptops, a technology learning lab and a coffee and snack shop. The Family Learning Center is for parent mentoring and family counseling, literacy assessment, interventions, after school enrichment and summer programming for children in K – 3rd grades. The Early Childhood Resource Center will emphasize school readiness and will help prepare children, especially those in poverty, for the learning and academic environment. There is a food pantry as well.
