They are hoping to break ground this fall on the community-funded project that originated roughly five years ago with the effort to build an indoor pool.

    The SRU Student Recreation Center is an 82,000 SF facility. The center includes a pool, walking track, climbing wall and fitness center as well as basketball & volleyball courts.

    B*K developed a preliminary operations assessment for a proposed student recreation center providing operating cost and revenue projections. From this early work a larger more complete study was conducted several years later by an architectural firm that resulted in the construction of a new student recreation center.

  • Spearfish Aquatic & Recreation Center Spearfish, SD

    The City of Spearfish completed a feasibility study for an aquatic and recreation center. The recreational center would include an aquatic facility with lazy river and lap pool while the fitness components would include a gymnasium, walk/jog track and aerobics room. Additionally the facility would include multi-purpose and party rooms.

    B*K performed an operations assessment and market analysis for the existing TAG Center in 2006. The TAG Center opened in 2002 and includes an aquatic area, gymnasium, community rooms, fitness and cardio center, and walk/jog track.
