• Friendship Center Lower Paxton Township, PA

  The Lower Paxton Township desired to provide a recreational facility that met the needs of all its citizens. The result is the Friendship Center an inter-generational facility for the enjoyment of people of all ages. Their motto: Family, Fun, and Fitness!

• Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center Atlanta, GA

  The 300,000 SF renovation and addition to Georgia Tech's Campus Recreation Center cost 37.25 million dollars. The 1996 Olympic aquatic venue had challenges to overcome but the results of this state-of-the-art center were award winning.

• Greater Plymouth Community Center Plymouth Meeting, PA

  The Greater Plymouth Community Center is adjacent to the Community Center Park and offers a wide array of recreational opportunities indoor and out.

• Key Biscayne Community Center Village of Key Biscayne, FL

  The Village of Key Biscayne is located on an island off the Miami coast. The Key Biscayne Community Center was designed to meet the resident’s needs and to provide “quality of life” opportunities for positive recreational experiences consistent with their mission.

• Osborn Aquatic Center Corvallis, OR

  The Osborn Aquatic Center is a joint facility between the Corvallis School District and the City of Corvallis. The center includes an outdoor leisure pool, as well as 50-meter indoor competitive pool.

• Red Mountain Multigenerational Center Mesa, AZ

  This multigenerational center is a partnership between the City of Mesa and Mesa Seniors Inc. designed to provide a variety of recreation services to citizens of all ages.

• RiverWinds Community Center Thorofare, NJ

  The RiverWinds Community Center in the Township of West Deptford is a beautiful facility on an equally beautiful site. The facility has a myriad of amenities including an outdoor amphitheater.

• The Centre Rolla, MO

  The Centre is Rolla's Health and Recreation Complex dedicated to helping the community by offering recreational opportunities that promote healthy lifestyles for all age groups.

• Vandalia Recreation Center Vandalia, OH

  The Vandalia Community Recreation Center serves the community's recreation and leisure needs by encompassing a wide variety of activity areas and unique features.

Project Studies

• Brushy Creek Recreation Facilities Operations Audit Round Rock, TX

  Ballard*King & Associates is providing the Brushy Creek Municipal District with Operation Audits for several Brushy Creek properties including: Brushy Creek Community Center; Creekside Pool; Sendero Springs Pool; and Cat Hollow Pool.

• Chatham Facility Audit Chatham, ME

  Ballard*King & Associates in partnership with Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc. is providing the Town of Chatham, Maine a Facility Audit.

• Green River Recreation Center Green River, WY

  B*K conducted an operations audit for the recreation center. The City of Green River is now looking to expand/renovate the existing facility and B*K provided the market analysis and operations pro-forma for this new addition.

• Ken-Caryl Ranch Metro District Organizational/Management Study Littleton, CO

  B*K conducted an organizational and management study for the district.

• Kennebunk Audit Kennebunk, ME

  Ballard*King & Associates provided the Town of Kennebunk with a program review audit.

• Litchfield Park Recreation Center Operational Audit Litchfield Park, AZ

  B*K completed an operational audit for the existing recreation center in Litchfield Park.

• Oberlin College Student Recreation Center Oberlin, OH

  The Jesse Philips Physical Education Center, a 115,000 SF facility, is the cornerstone of Oberlin's athletic complex. This facility includes a gymnasium, climbing wall and bouldering cave, pool, weight rooms, 6 racquetball and 9 squash courts. The John W. Heisman Club Field House is linked to Philips and includes a six-lane 200-meter track and four tennis courts. The recreation center also offers memberships to the community.

  Ballard*King and Associates conducted a comprehensive operations audit of the existing student recreation center to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the building’s physical condition, operations policies and marketing efforts. A major focus of the study was to look at specific methods to increase the use by community members. B*K's scope of services for this facility included the following: financial analysis, program assessment, marketing strategy, organization and management planning and policies and procedures review.

• Ontario Aquatic Center Audit Ontario, OR

  B*K provided a comprehensive audit,with ETC providing the survey for the City of Ontario.
