• Addison Addison, IL

  Ballard*King & Associates teamed with an architectural firm to provide the Addison Park District with a Master Plan for their community.

• Albemarle County Community Recreational Needs Assessment Study Charlottesville, VA

  Ballard*King & Associates was the lead firm on a team for this master plan study that was completed in three parts. Phase I determined overall Albemarle County Parks and Recreation needs and assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the current department. From this assessment, an indoor recreation facilities action plan was developed as Phase II. The last phase established basic parks and recreation facility standards based in part on benchmarking with other local agencies as well as prominent county departments nationwide.

• Brunswick Navel Air Station Base Recreational Facilities Assessment Study Brunswick, ME

  B*K worked with the Town of Brunswick to complete an assessment of the existing recreational facilities at the Brunswick Navel Air Station in preparation for the planned base closing. The Town of Brunswick was trying to determine which amenities to request through the base closure act. This study included the following: evaluation of existing NASB facilities, identification of Brunswick's recreational needs, and recommendation of acquisition options.

• Clark County-Southwest Regional Sports Park Master Plan Las Vegas, NV

  Ballard*King & Associates as part of a larger project team is working on a development plan for the Southwest Regional Sport Park. B*K’s role is to assist with programming to determine key elements of the park and operations analysis. This is planned to be a regionally focused, non-traditional, sports park with a strong emphasis on revenue production.

• Eastern Rio Blanco Recreation Master Plan Meeker, CO

  B*K was the lead firm for the development of a recreation master plan for the district that outlined citizen needs and priorities for facility development and service delivery. Phase II of the study focused on the establishment of a specific plan to develop indoor recreation facilities in the district. Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture and ETC Institute were teamed with B*K on this project.

• Emporia Master Plan Emporia, KS

• Marana Parks & Recreation Master Plan Marana, AZ

  B*K together with a landscape architect is working to provide the Town of Marana, AZ with a Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

• North Fork Parks & Recreation Master Plan Hochkiss, CO

  Ballard*King & Associates is providing a Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the North Fork Pool, Park and Recreation District.

• Oak Park Master Plan Oak Park, IL

  Ballard*King & Associates performed the following services: project overview, citizen input, market analysis and operations pro-forma.

• Oakwood Master Plan Dayton, OH

  Ballard*King & Associates in conjunction with an architectural firm has provided the City of Oakwood with a parks master plan.

• Orlando Parks & Recreation Strategic Plan Orlando, FL

  B*K was an integral part of a larger project team that completed a strategic plan for the City of Orlando. B*K was responsible for the analysis of recreation programs and services, maintenance operations and staffing patterns within the department

• Pomona Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan Pomona, CA

  Ballard*King and Associates working in conjunction with a local planning firm, completed a comprehensive master plan for parks and recreation facilities for the City of Pomona. This study also involved an analysis of the school district facilities that were or could be used for recreation purposes, an assessment of current conditions and future needs, as well as the operational implications of the master plan’s recommendations.

• Queen Creek Parks and Recreation Master Plan Queen Creek, AZ

  B*K together with a landscape architect to provided the City of Queen Creek with a comprehensive parks and recreation master plan for this fast growing community. B*A was responsible for establishing recreation program and service delivery priorities, the identification of active recreation facility needs and the establishment of a fee policy for services. B*K's scope of services included the following: recreation facilities inventory, recreation programs inventory, user fee analysis, review of LOS standards, analysis of connectivity and gaps in service, action plan assistance, establish fee philosophy, and budget forecast.

• Rochester Recreation Master Plan Rochester, NH

  B*K is currently working for the City of Rochester to provide a Recreation Master Plan.

• Sandy Springs Hammond Park Study Sandy Springs, GA

  B*K is working with a team to provide the City of Sandy Springs with the Hammond Park Master Plan Operations Study. B*K's scope of service on this project include a market review and operations analysis.

• St. Charles County Strategic Plan and Recreation Center Study St. Charles, MO

  B*K completed an assessment of recreation program and facility needs for this suburban St. Louis county. Ballard*King was a part of a larger project team.

• Surprise Parks & Recreation Master Plan Suprise, AZ

  A comprehensive Parks & Recreation Master Plan was completed for the City of Surprise. B*K scope of services included the following: demographic projections, analysis review, citizens survey review, benchmarking, recreation facilities review, recreation program inventory, recreation programs deficiencies and opportunities, local standards, other development recommendations, general design guideline/principals, and action plan.

• Tradition Parks & Recreation Master Plan Port St. Lucie, FL

  Core Communities in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is set on 4,600 beautiful acres. This community features acres of lakes and championship golf. B*K's scope of services for the community included: market review, parks and recreation facilities development priorities, recreation programs and services priorities, develop basic parks and recreation facility standards and guidelines, action plan development and provide a final report.

• Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District Comprehensive Plan Tualatin Hills, OR

  Ballard*King & Associates working with other team members, completed a comprehensive parks and recreation master plan for this large park district. B*K was responsible for reviewing recreation program and service delivery priorities and identification of active recreation facility needs. In addition B*K assessed parks maintenance functions and recommended a reorganization of the division.

• West Ouachita Recreation District Master Plan Monroe, LA

  Working in conjunction with two other firms, Ballard*King and Associates provided a recreation facilities master plan for this recreation district.

• West Sacramento Parks Master Plan Implementation Strategy Sacramento, CA

  Taking the parks and recreation master plan developed by another firm, B*K established a detailed implementation strategy and action plan for the study. Specific tasks and timelines were developed and priorities determined for a variety of parks and recreation facilities.
