• University of Missouri Student Recreation Center - Mizzou Aquatics Center Columbia, MO

  The University of Missouri Student Recreation Complex was a $50 million project which included the renovation of a 1905 gymnasium, 1929 field house, 1987 addition and an expansion. In total the Student Recreation Complex is 300,000 square feet with many amenities to include 6 bodies of water equalling 1.6 million gallons.

• Wasilla Multi-Use Sports Complex/Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center Wasilla, AK

  This facility is an indoor sports complex. The facilities four main activity areas are: ice arena, indoor artificial turf court, running/walking track, and meeting rooms.

• Waunakee Village Center Waunakee, WI

  The Village of Waunakee initially set out to build a senior center. Early in the process however, they realized the value of meeting the needs of all the community and with public input decided to build this multigenerational facility that is now enjoyed by patrons of all ages.

  B*K is performing a feasibility study for a joint public and non-profit recreation center. B*K's scope of services includes the following: market analysis, stakeholder interviews, focus groups sessions, partnerships, and project funding analysis.

• Ames Recreation Center Study Ames, IA

  Ballard*King & Associates performed a market analysis and operations pro-forma originally in 2000. This was updated in 2003 and again in 2007.

  The Athens Community Center is a 50,000 sq. ft. facility that includes the following amenities: fitness center, gymnasium, exercise studio, indoor track, arts and crafts room, childcare and meeting rooms.

  In 1998 B*K did the operations study for the Athens Community Center. The market analysis determined the projected operations income and expenses and helped with setting fees for memberships and rentals.

• Bentonville Recreation Center Study Bentonville, AR

  B*K worked with a team to provide a feasibility study for the City of Bentonville. B*K’s scope of services included a market analysis, including service area identification and demographic characteristics. A citizen participation plan was conducted including stakeholder interviews, focus group sessions and a compilation of information was performed. Additionally a detailed operations analysis was conducted.
